Autumn is full of stories, and autumn itself is a beautiful story.

Autumn is a sonata. When the sun sets, the sky is coloured red, which looks very grand and beautiful. Several wild geese are flying towards the south, soon disappearing in the red sky. Sometimes, it rains. But the rain is not very heavy. The rain in autumn is like the soft wind in spring. Although the rain is a bit cool, it has the colour and the taste of autumn. The rain beats against the window and the land, and sounds like someone is playing the piano.

Autumn is a poem. The leaves fall down from the tree and are blew into the sky. They are like a lot of dancing golden butterflies. The crystal-clear river sings the song of itself, and the song is so moving that the flowers on the bank are dancing to the song. In autumn, farmers write their poems in the fields, wild geese write their poems in the sky, and trees write their poems on their falling leaves. These poems record the stories of their happiness and sadness.

Autumn is a season full of stories of missing families and friends. A lot of Chinese ports once thought autumn was a blue season, because in autumn, wild geese flies towards the warm place in the south, and the leaves fall onto the land, where the root lies. Leaves all went back to their homes, but these poets had to be far way from their homes. They missed their homes and relations very much in this lonely season. So autumn in their eyes was full of sadness. However, autumn is also a harvest season. It is like a book. When we read it, we can always learn a lot from it. We can learn how to appreciate the beauty of nature, and we can learn how to treat our lives. As we know, when autumn comes, one year will be over soon. Many poets think of the significance of their lives in this season. They think deeply about what they have done in the past days of the year and whether they have wasted time or not.

In autumn, I always walk slowly on the little path, watching the leaves falling down from the trees. In the past I felt blue when autumn came, because I thought autumn was the symbol of death. But now, I understand her. I know that the trees without leaves in this season are showing their beauty in another way. And in the next spring, new leaves will grow again. This is actually the continuation of life.
